Hope Ball. How we helped raise £100k

A stunning charity gala dinner on the iconic Royal Crescent This was one of our highlights of our calendar for more reason than one, as this was not just any gala dinner. This was supporting and helping raise money for The Forever Friends Appeal in aid of the Cancer Care Campaign at the Royal United Hospital Bath and to celebrate the 250th anniversary on the lawns of the iconic Royal Crescent.

The dress code was black tie glamour to mark the special occasion which included a three-course fine dining menu with sommelier curated wine pairing; and featured a fine art auction including artworks by contemporary local fine artists.

Eat Five Star not only catered but project managed the event, which included Jazz band with guest performances by Claire Martin, OBE and Alfred “Pee Wee” Ellis on sax to entertain guests, while a live auction and singing waiters performed throughout the evening.

Guests were invited into the marquee for a canapé reception followed by dinner under the handmade circular lights and starry night, whilst violinists played throughout the meal. The meal included Citrus cured salmon to start, beef fillet with textures of onion for main and a passion fruit cheesecake dessert with candied citrus.

The event was unprecedented and set a record high for amount raised at a single event of its kind with 250 guests that raised over one hundred thousand pounds and we are delighted to have been asked to be involved again in the Summer of 2019.
