Hans Perquy - Lotus bakeries

A glimpse and taste of the true British outdoors bringing a unique culinary perspective.

We had so much fun creating two days worth of entertainment and catering working with Award Winning Belgium based Event company Meet Marcel and the great Lotus Bakeries from France.

Our objective was for guests to experience a quintessentially British outing in the countryside through produce discovered foraging as well as engaging with bird of prey.

Working with The Manor Hotel in spectacular Castle Combe guests were met with a quintessentially British pop up shop on site at the hotel which we pulled together working with Barbour and Hunter jackets and wellies. Guests dressed in their new items were ready for their Forest Forage walk at a secret location chosen by us for its beautiful setting and British heritage.

Guests stumbled across the stunning Lost Orangery Country Manor House with hot toddies and canapés, around the fire pits overlooking the lakes. For dinner guests enjoyed a ‘forest and field’ sensory dining experience celebrating Autumnal British produce within the orangery decked out with fruit trees and hedgerow styling.

Dinner provided al-fresco cooking over fire pits including Turbot, venison and fillet followed by roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate.
