In early March we exhibited at The Wiltshire Wedding Show in Salisbury, meeting new Brides and Grooms to be from all around Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire. I was overcome by the amount of panic stricken faces that I was faced with, it seemed after much chatting with the recently engaged couples there was general consensus that they were overwhelmed by the whole prospect. Although the wedding show provided them with lots of new ideas and provided introductions to some of the regions’ suppliers, they felt a bit lost in it all, overloaded with all the decision making.
I think our message to any of you feeling like this would be- don’t panic!, there is no right or wrong way of doing things on your Special Day, it is about creating a memorable day to share with your loved ones with little personalised touches which are special to you and symbolic of your life together. I must admit that the most beautiful wedding that I co-ordinated was the simplest!- full of wild flowers in miscellaneous jars and vases that they had cobbled together within their friends and family.
We have seen many of these wonderful, personal touches along the way while delivering wedding catering throughout the South West, from central Bath, weddings in the heart of the Cotswolds to lavish wedding celebrations in South Wales. We relish the opportunity to work with each and every Bride and Groom to deliver their dreams and go above and beyond their expectations for their Special Day. In some cases we have found ourselves working alongside wedding planners, local, London and International, and our roles often overlap in the lead up to and on the day. As each and every one of us know one of the most memorable parts of a wedding day revolves around keeping guests fed and watered sufficiently and efficiently with signature cocktails, dazzling canapés and stunning service. After all what’s the thing people comment on most during a wedding (apart from the Bride’s dress of course), it’s the food.
With food and drink as a focal point in the day, we see ourselves as caterers in a good position not only to provide you with sustenance but also with wider wedding planning support. This is why we continue to strengthen our in-house event planning team to be able to provide that wedding guidance which has always been part of our standard process. So although we are first and foremost a caterer, if you would like more help from us we can provide total coordination for your wedding, from start to finish and everything in between. So whether you want full wedding planning: venue sourcing, marquee decoration, evening entertainment arrangements to production etc. - or- simply providing a few elements to make up your day we would be delighted to help you.
We have gathered together a hand-picked team of experienced wedding coordinators who (we think anyway) are responsive, creative and unflappable–and each one also thrives on the operational management of the day, delivering exactly what they promise. Our handpicked team and network of local trusted suppliers will work together ensuring each and every part of your day is one to be treasured, creating lasting memories.
So although each any every couple will have their own hopes and dreams for the day our wedding-coordinators will take you through our bespoke wedding planning process to design Your Day so that it exactly fits your story, your budget and your tastes!
